The Virgin Birth

Jesus' birth in Isaiah 7:14 states: "Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel."
The Hebrew "almah" means "young woman" and not a "virgin." However, the Greek Septuagint translated it as "parthenos" (virgin), and the Gospel of Matthew uses this translation to link the prophecy to Jesus.
Would someone help me understand why this happened?

Correct the term is "almah"

Ge 24:43 Behold, I stand by the well of water; and it shall come to pass, that when the virgin cometh forth to draw water, and I say to her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water of thy pitcher to drink;
44 And she say to me, Both drink thou, and I will also draw for thy camels: let the same be the woman whom the LORD hath appointed out for my master's son.
45 And before I had done speaking in mine heart, behold, Rebekah came forth with her pitcher on her shoulder;

Rebekah is a young woman past puberty and un married - so she is a virgin - all marriages required a blood token to make the marriage true - hence the woman had to be sealed for this to happen.

Ex 2:8 And Pharaoh's daughter said to her, Go. And the maid went and called the child's mother.

Here the same term can refer to a young woman from 12 years to 20 years.

EGW: " And Paul employs the same figure in the New Testament when he says: “I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.” 2 Corinthians 11:2. {GC 381.2}

When Jesus came down to earth through his prophets as similes of Him in function, what kind of woman did He find to marry?

I translate with Hebrew intent

Ho 1:2 ¶ The beginning of the word of the FATHER by Yashah. And the FATHER said to Yashah (His Son) , Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the FATHER.

The correct spelling of Hosea is Yashah or in Latin Jesus.

So this book in the Bible is called Jesus, and is written by Jesus as a poetry simile of how we are supposed to be virgins when we are married to Jesus. But instead we are whores.

Ho 1:9 Then said God, Call the SDA people: for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God.

This should be a wake up call for the 19/20 EGW says are not saved in the SDA Church.

Ho 2:7..I will go and return to my first husband; for then was it better with me than now.

The problem is we are married to the Devil and live in his self powers, instead of Jesus powers in us, our husband.
We are wanton, our lives are not virgin.

Ho 2:23 And I will sow her unto me in the earth;

Jesus is taking about faith here, we are to sow His Seeds in us, our hearts is the earth, a simile of gardening His Grace.

Ho 3:2 So I bought her to me

Jesus created us and later Jesus buys us back a second time.

Like the song "little Jesus made a boat and put it on the water and the string tied the two together,
.... "

Ho 4:1 ¶ Hear the word of the FATHER, ye children of SDA for the FATHER hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.
2 By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.

We need to be virgins, and remain faithful to one husband, who is called Jesus our groom.
